The Daily Tantrum Chronicles Of Black Lives Matter

So what are the perpetually offended up to today?

Age-Friendly Pittsburgh and Equity

White women in the region can expect to live to 78, while Black men can expect to live to 64. Pittsburgh ranks among the least livable cities for Black residents, particularly Black women. “Disparities across health, income, employment and education are pervasive — and they have been laid bare by COVID-19,” Poskin says. “We are moving away from ‘Our Population is Growing Older,’ to the recognition that not everyone has that privilege,” says Poskin. “We all deserve access to longer, healthier lives. To accomplish this depends on confronting the systemic disparities that make the realization of a long, healthy life less likely for our Black citizens.”AARP

Black community leaders denounce vandalism of Mayor Steinberg’s home, other violent protests

Leaders say weekly race wars at the Capitol between white supremacists and anti-fascists have gone ignored by journalists and that so-called allies are doing more harm than good to groups like Black Lives Matter. Local leaders are denouncing protests that ended in property damage after Steinberg’s home was vandalized following demonstrations criticizing the city’s response to multiple deaths that occurred during storms at the end of January. Six people died outdoors but the county coroner did not confirm the cause of the deaths.ABC 10

Nyx founder Julie Lea named in lawsuit alleging “racketeering”

Founded in 2011, Nyx quickly grew into the largest carnival parade in New Orleans in terms of membership. But that all came crashing down in the spring of 2020. As protests took place around the nation in the wake of the death of George Floyd, a black man who died as he was detained by white Minneapolis police officers, Lea posted the message #ALLLIVESMATTER to both Krewe of Nyx and her personal social media accounts.Radio

Students protest in halls of Sandalwood High School after racially insensitive posts

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A student demonstration at Duval County’s largest school. Students at Sandalwood High School staged a walkout Wednesday after a series of online posts sparked outrage. It all started Tuesday with a post on Microsoft Teams from Sandalwood High School Principal Dr. Saryn Hatcher. It was to promote the school district’s mental health awareness campaign this month. The campaign, “You Matter Month” caused many students to be outraged thinking that it was a replacement for Black Lives Matter and by extension, Black History Month which is also in February. DCPS spokesperson Tracy Pierce said the district recently pivoted the branding of the campaign from its original message “#TakeOffTheMask,” after it caused some confusion and inadvertent mixed-messaging, first reported by the Florida Times-Union.News4Jax

OPINION: Love the History, Love the Fight, Love the People

I am 22 years old and grew up reading about White racist southerners screaming at Blacks who dared to equalize this oppressive system, seen pictures of protests, marches, and sit-ins. They’re just books right? Wrong, I lived that “narrative” this past summer of 2020. Not only did I live it, I marched it, prayed about it, cried over it, and the anguish I had once known in textbooks was seen across the nation. Black history is preserved and remembered this month to decrease the influence of those who’ve controlled it for years, thereby increasing the knowledge of its subjects and alliances.Uno The Gateway

Did a Black Lives Matter Leader Bomb the U.S. Capitol in 1983?

The 1960s, ’70s and early ’80s gave rise to a number of organizations aligned with the Black Power Movement and Marxist-Leninism, including a female-led group known as the May 19th Communist Organization (M19CO). Founded in 1978, M19CO first gained national attention when it took two guards hostage at the Clinton (now Edna Mahan) Correctional Facility for Women in Union Township (Hunterdon), New Jersey, and in the process freed Assata Shakur, a member of the Black Liberation Army. Skakur’s birth name is JoAnne Chesimard, a former member of the Black Liberation Army, who was convicted of murdering New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster during a shootout on the New Jersey Turnpike in 1973. But M19CO perhaps is most recognized for its participation in a plot to bomb the U.S. Capitol. One of the members involved in these attacks was Rosenberg, who was arrested by the FBI in 1984 and charged with possession of explosives. She was convicted and sentenced to 58 years in prison but served only 16 after being pardoned by President Bill Clinton on his final day in office. Susan Rosenberg, formerly a member of a left-wing terrorist group known as M19CO, did participate in the bombing of the U.S. Capitol’s North Wing in 1983, for which she served a 16-year sentence. But she is not the head of the Black Lives Matter Global Network. Rosenberg is on the board of directors for a nonprofit that sponsored the BLM Global Network Project from 2016 to 2020.Newsweek

Now why would a Marxist POS be involved with a peaceful organization devoted to equality?

Because that’s NOT what they are.

Stay safe amigos…
